Getting a TRV with a pending express entry profile.

Hey guys,

I have submitted my express entry profile and in the pool but no ITA yet. I want to apply for a visit visa to Canada, will it be a problem that I am on express entry or its of no consequence? Secondly Can I apply also for a student visa from my home country or travel first with TRV.

What exactly are your plans for your future?

You need to work out the best possible route that will help you to immigrate/move to Canada long-term.

You can apply if you're in the EE pool. But, visiting on a TRV + wanting to remain in Canada until you get an ITA won't help (if that's what you want to do). You must have a genuine reason for a short visit
