Im currently an international student in Canada and I had to leave the country unexpectedly due to a family emergency. I only recently realized my visa is expired and I probably have to go and apply for one in Seattle, I have a US visa aswell so this should be ok. Thing is I need to get my Visa ASAP for work and study reasons, has anybody done the walk in thing? Im a bit stressed about it, but I also have a study permit and work permit to canada that are both valid for a few years more, its just the visa that expired... Do you think the process will be easier because of this?

I hope you should not have any problem. Just go in-person and apply for it.

Let me know the experience. I am waiting to hear back about the in-person processing at Seattle Consulate.
