Does your application took the same processing time that is mentioned on the website?
Because, my application has exceeded processing time from India and there is no request from cic to submit my passport.
Not sure what to do

Minimum processing time in pakistan is about 2 months. My visit visa has issued after two months.
I dont know about the procedure in india.

i have applied in a conference in Montreal and get two years visit visa on multiple entries. Following docs are attached along with my application.

Application form.
visit visa fee slip (Green)
Invitation letter from conference
Letter from my employer
Bank statement (5 Lack)
Salary slip
Education docs
Police certificate
complete Email conservation history from me and local host in canada
scanned copy of previous trainings/conferences
scanned bank slip of payment of conference fee

actually our case is little bit differnt from you me and my hubby applied together my study permit had been approved but my hubby got refusd reason 1.purpose of visit2.length of stay length we mntioned bfr is 2 yrs with multiple now single visit and of two mnths purpose we mentioned to settle me down all basic requiremnts we attached with application with 70000$and property of my husband in pakistan and job vication letter

now dnt know what will happen?in forum every body says its difficult to take trv after one refusals and our consultants says u have to apply immediately aftr one refusal....we have no relatives in canada what would the possible options for my husband to go canada along with me?

he is doing job in uae dubai as sale supervisor yes he has strong travel history he had been vist uk for study purpose two years,and visited france,holand,spain,saudia,bahrai

i got study permit but i am in uae still cuz i am waiting for my husband trv so he can settle me down as we have no any relatives in canada

According to my opinion, there are some possibilities.

First of all, it is compulsory to convince visa officer. I think your husband visa is rejected due to following reasons.

1) Limited prospectus of degree
2) Convince visa officier that you will leave canada after degree.

It is my suggestion that your husband should apply for a unique degree. For example if he is applying for MBA then it is better to apply for MBA in supply management, insurance risk management in a university etc etc.
IELTS is also compulsory for this.

But my advice is that your husband should apply for Immigration or work permit. Because first of all your husband is married and having good experience and bank statement as well. Therefore it is better to look into immigration/work permit rather than student permit.

i got study permit and he is applying for trv (spouse) previously he got rejection for TRV for two year period same as of my study duration. but now he applied for two month single entry trv in sop we mention that he want go with me to settle down in intial days during my study. he got rejection rejection due to 1) length of proposed stay 2) purpuse of visit). last time we applied for 2 years mutliple visits. becouse we r unware of trv .
