Hello all, I'm an international student who's currently enrolled in university.
I've been staying in Canada for few years and both my passport and study permit are close to its expiry date. So I'd like to get a new passport and extend my study permit, but not sure if it will cause any problem.
When I apply to extend my current study permit, will they accept the new passport number? Or should I apply for a new permit, NOT for an extension?
This has been bugging me for a while. Thank you for your time, I'll wait for the answer desperately!
