In general category
my agent said that we have to pay 1 year fees recommended and have to show money for all the three year course. I m very doubtful. I have checked the embassy checklist but they mentioned only one year.

gill,
YES fund trasfer system [GIC] is only for SPP and university students,
and Regarding the funds i would say nothing is mentioned different for SPP and Generic, but according to canada high commsion your bank statements for the past four months; should be shown.

and other ways of showing funds are here is this link of official CHC website.

hi dinesh. I've read your posts before in which you said you got refused. Sorry for that.
The pre payment of "first semester fee" is recommended and you have to show an education loan of about 1450000 covering your living expenses and one year fees. Read the details carefully. You can download the checklist for general category from vfs-canada.co.in.
Apply soon to grab your visa.
No need to pay full year fee if applying under gereric category.
Thanks

hi harsewak.
I'm saying that loan of 1450000 is necessary because your tuition fee for one year would be around 14000-15000$ and living expenses are 10000$. So this means that you have to show minimum of 1300000 inr as an education loan.
Doesn't matter whether you have paid the full year fees or not.
