Generic Application Form - Number of Applicants

Hello Members,
I have a kid born here in Canada and by birth canadian citizen. I am applying for PR now and in the generic application it asks for the number of applicants in the form. And it also asks for dependants details in the form.
I am planning to include my kid as dependant but then is it okay to mention in the form that there are only 2 applicants in this form - myself and my wife?

Your child is already a Citizen, so he is not applying for PR. So It will be 2 applicants.

Your child's info will go in to Additional Family Information form.

Does it mean , I should not add Child's information in Generic Application Form?
