My question is in what order to we submit our forms.

Our understanding was that we had to first submit the sponsorship application to the Government of Canada (that includes the Generic Application for 0008), then submit the undertaking application to the Government of Quebec and finally apply for the Quebec Selection Certificate and permanent residence. This must not be correct as form 0008, Question 7 asks for the Certificat de Selection # or date submitted. Do we submit the Application for selection certificate (form A-0520-BA) first?

I am being sponsored by my husband who is from Quebec. We both currently live in Quebec (I am on a one year visiting visa).

If anyone can help clarify...I would be very grateful.

You submit the application to Mississauga. Once you are approved for stage one, they send you a letter that you send to Quebec to get the CSQ. Then Quebec government sends the CSQ to you, and to your visa office, so it's already there when they open your file at the VO. They can only issue the PR once they have the CSQ but it's usually pretty quick, so as long as you ask for it once you have done stage 1, you'll be fine.
If you don't have to fill out anything in IMM0008 question 7. It's in case you have already applied through somewhere else ( let's say you had a work permit in Quebec already etc - then you fill it out). But if you have never applied to CSQ before, just put no, and that's it!
Good luck,
