Hello! I have a valid TRV which was stamped during my PGWP, my PGWP expired last year and I left Canada after staying 7 years before it expired, didn't apply for anything else, I'm planning to go back to Canda on that valid TRV to visit my partner who is a citizen. I have proof of funds for about 4-5K CAD, and would it be okay if I showed my partners banking certificate too as I'll be living with them? And I live with my family back home, I'd have to quit my job to go back to Canada, what other proof for ties back home can I prove? I'd have a return flight ticket as well, I know you have to be confident enough to answer questions. Any tips would be appreciated.

How long are you attempting to visit Canada? Why do you need to quit your job? That eliminates a significant tie to your home country.

Just visiting for a month, and I won’t get leave from my work for a month as it’s a contract based which is ending in November anyways.

Really tough to predict whether you will have issues entering Canada. Telling the truth is your best option. You can show your partners proof of funds but will be up CBSA how much they consider it.
