this is for your Info. Requested GCMS on May 22 and received today.

I have a question, hopefully the seniors can help.

I have Criminality - passed
Medicals - passed
Eligibility - passed (even though they needed a review pheeeeww)
RCMP Screening - No reportable Trace
Security - Blank, with multiple activity note entries

Can someone tell my what the difference between criminality, rcmp screening, and security is? And why they don't have updates on my security? I'm guessing this is the only thing holding up my application.

Any help is appreciated.

Is there nothing under notes saying you are good to go? Or that a review is required?

Under the Security? no there is just blank note entries with blank status and dates

I am december applicant want to apply for GCMS, I am the principle applicant and my wife is dependent. Want to know, when I fill the online form, I have to give my details only? or I have to request for my wife also. Please advise me.
and also for this question

which on ei have to select? access to information act or privacy act?

Do a quick search on this forum. Basically one will ask you to pay 5$ and the other is free, ofcourse depending on whether you live in Canada or not. Also, you will have to fill one out for your wife as well.

Are you sure one needs to fill two GCMS requests- one for primary applicant and one for spouse?

No need to fill 2 requests. I've ordered mine & got information for my dependents also.

Applying for GCMS within Canada should be free, right? but while i was applying website asked me to pay $5

I applied on 27th June, I am in canada and paid $5.

Dies anyone have any idea if it could affect our CEC file processing or is it normal to ask for these notes
