My theory is that it will become In Progress by CBSA as soon as receive any update in CBSA. Mine was started at 20240110 and updated once by 20240415 (for unknown reason).

I certainly hope it’s not « assigned to analyst » kind of update because waiting a year to just be assigned is absolutely insane.
Hi, while it might mean a change in SS status, it also might just be a change of your file location/agent assignment. The only way to know is to call or request your GCMS notes.
Hey thanks for your response! By calling IRCC i think the only specific information i could get is if there was a VO change right? they wouldn't even aknowledge i was in SS when I called so I doubt they'd be able to tell me for there was a change in status. I ordered notes a few weeks ago, still waiting to receive them but I guess it wouldn't hurt to order them again soon. It's only been 3 months since being placed in SS I still have a long time to wait I guess.

It depends on the person you get honestly. Some would downright tell you the screening status!
If I’m not mistaken, this is for Citizenship and the subactivity is CIT CSIS Screening? In this case, it might have already started or it might be just waiting in the CSIS queue, the status would only change once when the results come in.

that's right. thanks. once results come in, do they have to be received by CBSA.
To my knowledge no, once it’s done and an IRCC officer reviews it, the Security Clearance activity will be updated as Passed.

I got the notes under my name, and everything showed Passed, but to my surprise, I received my wife's notes and after 15 months SS from her still said just CBSA - Received
Do you guys think if I call IRCC they can trigger something to help?

If you applied for a program with 6-months processing time, you can already file for a mandamus. There is no other way to « trigger something » unfortunately.
