Not trying to be a downer, but RC-8090 can be really bad news and highly likely you are not looking at months to get an approval....heck, I am almost 3 years into this thing and I still don't know when will this end

Not to be a non-downer, but RC-8090 seems just to refer to the Sydney processing centre - where I believe every single citizenship app is also referred to. So as far as I can tell, having RC-8090 listed as one of the offices means ... precisely nothing. Fast files will see it, so will slow ones.

These visa offices are referred to by their codes, called “responsibility centre” (RC) codes. Some of the common RC codes are:
