I applied for GCMS notes through GCMS now today. How long are they taking these days to process notes? Are visafile guys faster?

They all come from the same place. There's honestly no need to pay for them. You can request them under the privacy act from the CIC/IRCC for free. They usually take 30-40 days.

If you are not in Canada and have someone in Canada that can order on your behalf the fee is $5.

Unless you are physically in Canada on a tourist visa etc you cannot order them for free.
