Quick question(s) for you guys, 8)

1. how long after submitting your application should one wait until requesting GCMS for the
first time?

2. once requested and received, do you recommend requesting notes again? like right away?

3. if not right away, how long should on individual wait until the next request?

This is all based on personal opinion:

1) 6-8 months. Probs 7-9 now with the strike. OR if people in your month are receiving MR's

2) no - I waited several months.

3) see above

Basically I believe that GCMS should be to look at potential issues (ie reviews) and that requesting them takes away from other areas that CIC may be working on (I'm hoping they have a team dedicated to this but you never know). I've seen people order them almost obsessively and while I don't think it has impact on an application, I don't see it as a positive exercise in helping CIC process applications as fast as possible

There is an email address in the automatic email that you received when you submit the request.

Send them an email and ask.

I have ordered notes on July, 26 and didn't get them yet too. I have sent an inquiry to the email address 2 days ago but haven't receive any response back.

If they are ending security stuff which you'll never see, they might be taking a bit longer

I have just received a reply from ATIP regarding my inquiry. They said they cannot find my request in their system and I should reapply. The amazing part is that I forwarded them their own confirmation email they sent me when I filed this request, including the confirmation number. Un-F...ING believable.
