Also the spouse goes in Section B

Oh, they had us do: My Wife (Section A), Me (Section C).

GCMS notes can only be requested by a citizen, PR or someone in Canada. If you are applying for PR and your spouse is accomanying then neither of you are able to apply for the notes which means you need someone to order them for you and they would be the rep.

Me (PA) and my wife, we both are in Canada. I requested in July but it only came in with my info. This time I want to get info of us both.

Yes, bc you're the designated individual. For non family class the spouse would be included in the application for PR and so they go in section B

And you didn't file one of these: http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.pdf ?

Correct me if I am wrong, but you have to have one of those filled out in order to talk to CIC about your partner. Granted the consent may override it....

If you are in Canada then all you need to do is enter the spouse in Section B

No, I never appointed a representative for my application. I applied for PNP PR as single applicant, got married few months later and updated CIC about martial status. CIC asked me for spouse documents, submitted them and now my wife is also added to my current PR application is in process.

Me and wife we both have passed medical exam so waiting for PPR. I want to see how's rest everything looks on our file which is why I want to order GCMS notes for myself and my spouse(dependent in my file)

Sorry for asking repetitive questions ,

SO section A will be who?

and you said Section B is for my spouse

\section c will be who (designated contact individual)

After reading about it and looking at the form again I think you need to be the designated contact individual so

A you B your spouse and C you.

It's very confusing as I have no experience with gcms outside of family class.

I will be responding to all the questions addressed to me on Thursday all day.

Awaiting for your response Eagle, appreciate your help.

2 Questions!

1. How long approximately does it take to get GCMS notes?

2. I found the place to request the GCMS notes, however, as I went through everything I had to fill out I ended up overwhelmingly confused and just exited! :o
If I do this, I want to request for information on what emails they have sent my husband, if PPR was sent and if anything has been mailed to him.
How would I do that?

I have ordered GCMS notes on Oct 7, they were generated on Oct 18 and I received them today, Nov 4. Everything has not been started yet but at least I'm glad there's no backlog anymore where people wait for 50-60 days for their notes.

edit: I actually ordered the notes on Oct 5.

Good Day Kako,

I got your personal message you sent to me today, however I usually don't respond to private messages unless I instruct someone to do so. When I instruct you to sent me your personal message I will make sure I got to search for your message in my inbox because there are over hundred messages which I could not respond to.

Here is what I see, your file is almost completed. These are some of the reasons your security results are not sent yet to the Embassy:

1. Could have been your security clearance is still pending due to a lot of files CSIS is handling for the past months
2. Could have been your security clearance is completed by CSIS but they have not sent it yet to the Embassy
3. Your full name could have matched a most wanted person by the WEST and CSIS wants to check all the leads
4. CSIS might have been waiting for feedback from some of the agencies around the world
5. You might a long wrap sheet of travel history which will extend your Security ASSESSMENT

To answer your private message I would say yes, SECURITY ASSESSMENT is not done by CIC rather by CSIS. The same way Medical Assessment is not done by CIC but RMO. CIC is only responsible to check your ELIGIBILITY based on the program you apply under then other 3 assessments are being done by other government bodies. Once Security is completed by CSIS they will grade your results then send those grading to CIC in order to finalised your file.
