Eagle - can you please advise on this? I sent an email to your inbox as well.

I got my GCMS notes for sponsoring my husband from NL today, everything shows as passed except Criminality. The status shows as Failed, description: Failing to provide a specimen for analysis on 2013. I did provide all related court documents to them in August. The last update I received from my MP was that the file is pending review and final decision. They have also extended the Medical which had expired. The value date is 24 Nov 16 and valid to Feb 2017.

Any luck? Or should I consider this as a reject?

my pr application refused as visa officer not satisfied that i will live in province of nomination.
I received my gcms notes today,
in gcms notes it is showing
criminality = cancelled.

does it mean, they stopped criminality verification process as my application refused or criminality failed ?

Sorry about your refusal , That's a crazy reason , how did they determine you will not live in the province of nomination ? did you give them reasons to believe that ?

Yes they stopped Criminality process because they decided it's not needed as your app is refused .

Has anyone contacted an MP's office to ask why ATIP is troublesome?

Here is the scenario: >60 days late, and when I contacted them to ask about another status update on this, they only told me that my request continues to be flagged as priority and they will forward it as soon as the information is available..

I am thinking that a call to my MP's office to ask them about remedies for ATIP might be in order...

I got my notes yesterday after roughly 80 days. I had emailed them 5 business days prior stating it had been 72 days and asking why the file hadn't been forwarded yet.

Well, I am glad you got your notes. I took the plunge and called the MP's office. They are working the problem now...

it depends on what kind of applications , generally you need to fix the cause of the this refusal before you can re-apply successfully .

Yeah, got them.. no useful information though. Note at the end simply says interview required and that's it.

That's not very helpful... Did they answer your CSE regarding booking the interview while you were in the region?

Nope.

I'm gonna send pics anyways. Got lots of good ones. Also booked a trip to Thailand with my wife for our anniversary. Will send the tickets and more proof when we go.

So, you're going to get to the interview, and they will tell you "Oh, we forgot to tell you, we waived the interview after all... hey how was the trip to the volcano??"

I don't like to use a sledge hammer to terminate a fly... but I'd had enough of lack of answers from IRCC. That's why I jumped in and called my MP. I will deal with the fall out from it, if there is any....
