Hello colleagues,
please I got this notice from CIC last Friday

Ø Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from UK or evidence that you have applied for it.

Ø Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination for all three non-accompanying dependants.

*** To avoid delays, please submit all requested documents at the same time ***

Please note:

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information so that we may continue processing your application. Please note this will be the ONLYopportunity we will provide for you to submit additional evidence. Your application will be assessed in 30 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time.

my 3 non-accompanying kids to undergo medical examination, my ex refused to allow them due to the fact that she has full custody and swear will never cooperate. My medicals has expired in July but my assessment showed passed and due date is January 2017 which makes me think they extended it.
what do I do, I decide I will tender a declaration and notarized it that she won't allow it though I have a chat message from her on whatsapp as an evidence.

About UK police report, I dont live in uk but travel there frequently as a visitor and there was a time i stayed upto 9 months, so am surprised Accra VO asking me to provide one, I have contacted the police department and I got instructions how to apply online because its faster.

Please from the seniors or anyone with similar experience or that has knowledge of what I need to do.

All advice is appreciated...

Hi

1. Submit any and all evidence that you have tried to get your ex to allow you children to have a medical exam. You will need to provide a notarized sworn affidavit that you are aware that as the children have not been examined that you acknowledge and accept that you can never sponsor them to Canada. You should really attempt to convince your ex to allow the exam. What happens if she dies and you're in Canada and can't sponsor them? What if the kids want to attend a Canadian University? You should explain this to your ex and tell her it's what's best for your children. Just because they undergo the medical does not mean they will leave her custody it just means that if something unforseen happens they can go to Canada.

2. You were in UK for 9 months. The email says more than 6 months. No surprise they want the PCC.

s.26: http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/p-21/page-5.html#docCont :

It's just a law that allows cic or another goverment to hide information they don't want to share for security reason.

Hey guys, I order my notes September 20th and just received them today (October 18th).

Im about to read them now, hoping to get some insight on whats taking them so long for PPR :)

Where is Eagle?? He hasn't been active in a while.

Eagle if you read this I would love to send you my notes with a synopsis of what I think about them just so you can confirm if what I'm seeing is right or totally wrong.

Hi everyone!
Ordered notes in September and got them on October 12 everything was "not started" other than medical which was passed.
The last updated note was sponsor eligibility that passed :(
Would they write any notes if they see good things on my file or do they just put down red flags in the notes? I'm hoping if they haven't wrote any notes that might be a good sign that there is nothing wrong with my case but what if the reason they haven't wrote anything on my notes is because they actually haven't started anything!!!

If Eligibility indicated, passed then this is a good thing.

should we be concerned that our notes say that fees are outstanding when it was paid upfront with receipt included?

You'll see Payments and Fees... They are holding Payments in escrow. I was worried about that too when I first saw it..

From what I understand elegibility and criminality should be finished around the same time. They probably updated that after you ordered your notes :)

Depends on the case type and the external actors.

I also have an assignment due date at the end of this month. I think its like a reminder for them not to forget our application. They will look into it and see if anything is missing. What is the status of your eligibility? mine says review required. I sent them at the beginning of this month lots of relationship proofs. I hope they will put passed for our eligibility.
