Interviews for VO that is a regional processing centre are held in the PA home country.

Did you receive your gmcs notes? Btw, I found out why my gmcs notes were late....my file was originally transfered to Dar Salam when it's supposed to be transfered to Nairobi. So, basically when i ordered the notes (august 14), my file was in transition to nairobi. They were working on it.

No notes yet. I don't think the file transfer has anything to do with the notes being late. The requests are processed by ATIP office in Canada not by individual VO overseas.

Hey IAmBule -- How's it?

I should note that when I was asked to update my consent form, I suggested to them that it was now a month on, any chance I could get a newer set of notes? Annnnd they haven't answered with either the old notes, or new ones.... Despite acknowledging the request was overdue...

Good man. Soaking up the sun in beautiful Indonesia with the wife :P

Same here. I recieved an email over a month ago saying my request is overdue and my request is flagged as "priority".. whatever that means. Lol.

Sun.. WTH... I protest!

Glad to hear you two are together. Did you bring your kid out there too?

I think I made the mistake of asking for a new pull from the notes (an "updated" version) and now that they have consent, it's going to take time.. lame.

How's the resident visa going for indo?

Yep, lots of sun lol. 10am and 30C right now lol.

Thanks man, it's nice to be with her here. I didn't bring my daughter as her mom would never let me take her here for 4 months haha. And she's in school back home. We haven't applied for the resident visa as my wife's national id card is in process and we can't apply without it. I paid for visa on arrival for 30 days and I will extend it for 30 days and then once 60 days passes the wife and I will fly to Kuala Lumpur for a day or two and then re enter Indo or apply for the resident visa if she has her card by then.

I didn't ask for updated notes and I'm in the same boat lol

It's like summer in Ontario! My mother-in-law was shocked that at 10 am it would register 30*C and feel like 35, at 10am... She begged to go swimming...

Well, my Ruskie connection might have a cocktail to fix that reluctance ;). She can make a Kremlin call any time...
Yeah bad idea to take them out of school. I didn't know her age, but I know for my son, I wouldn't want him to miss our on important school milestones for a vaca.

Gotta say, Indo is one place on our bucket list... Totally jelly here...

Yeah, me too bro. I take my hat off to our friend @iambule for taking so much time off from work in order to stay with his wife. I wish i can take some time off from work to visit my wife. I've missed her since the second I walked away from her at the airport, and now that our eligiblity says review requires (meaning our process will be delayed), i keep thinking about the next time we're gonna see each other again. For now, we live for the emails, photos and FaceTime calls we make every day.

It's really a tough choice when you have to decide between how well you will provide for your family’s future vs remaining in a job that causes you to miss your love ones.

Hello colleagues,
please I got this notice from CIC last Friday

Ø Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate from UK or evidence that you have applied for it.

Ø Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination for all three non-accompanying dependants.

*** To avoid delays, please submit all requested documents at the same time ***

Please note:

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information so that we may continue processing your application. Please note this will be the ONLYopportunity we will provide for you to submit additional evidence. Your application will be assessed in 30 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time.

my 3 non-accompanying kids to undergo medical examination, my ex refused to allow them due to the fact that she has full custody and swear will never cooperate. My medicals has expired in July but my assessment showed passed and due date is January 2017 which makes me think they extended it.
what do I do, I decide I will tender a declaration and notarized it that she won't allow it though I have a chat message from her on whatsapp as an evidence.

About UK police report, I dont live in uk but travel there frequently as a visitor and there was a time i stayed upto 9 months, so am surprised Accra VO asking me to provide one, I have contacted the police department and I got instructions how to apply online because its faster.

Please from the seniors or anyone with similar experience or that has knowledge of what I need to do.

All advice is appreciated...
