Hi, John
I don't think these due dates mean the application due date is in 2017. The due date is usually 1 year from the moment a particular work started.
The most important is bring forward date, did you check it?
Security and criminality might be completed in a few days (ours were done for 3 days !!!) or up to several months, it depends on the case. I really hate to say it even to myself but we need somehow to find the patience to go through this painful and endless process.

where do I find the Bring forward date?

thanks for writing

I am sorry, I just realised it now. Thanks for your help.

You do realize this is the family sponsorship section and not economic stream and that people on this thread are familiar with gcms notes for sponsorship apps?

Otherwise, yes it looks like nothing wrong with your app

You are welcome. :)

BFD is written as due date at the Assessments section. It's the actual date when your file will be looked again by the immigration officer. First note which says where your file is located (Paper File, Office, Location ) then check the application assignment date.

Well I found assessment section - found paper file etc - and the application date is 2016/06/01 which has passed - that's odd shouldn't that be updated? the GMCS note was printed Aug 05 2016

Anyway, I'll order notes again and hopefully we see a change in dates.

thanks again,
John

Hope its safe to apply for gcms more than 3 times during application processing ?

I apply every 30 days. Literally the day they show up I order new ones.

hi, i have one more question. what does it mean when they say

location: fc pending

Hello,

My mother case is also stuck in social assistance check. It will be great if you can share how much time it took to come out of social assistance check. I mean from the day check was initiated in GCMS notes to when the results were received and notes entered.

Reply will be really helpful for me to get some better sense. In my case it has been more than 4 months and they are still doing social assistance checks.

Regards,
Salil

I ordered on 15th July morning and nothing so far. Do they consistently go over 30 days time? Do they realise that 30 days is the maximum allowable time, not the minimum?

Also, is there anything that CIC does on time or ahead of time. This is a gongshow. They could take notes from Passport Canada on how to work efficiently.

what does it mean if the application assignment fields are blank?

I email them on day 31 if they don't send them.

when you ordered your notes they sent you a confirmation email asking you to wait 31 days before contacting them , so it's 30 days plus 1 day to deliver the message to you .

Just be patient. If you did not fill out the form correctly you will be notified and advised what is required to complete your application. You will get an email within 2 weeks should they need more information from you.

I would assume if you have not been notified by CIC regarding your request you should be ok. Expect your GMCS notes approximately 30 days from date of submission. If you do not receive your notes by day 31 send them a follow up email enquiring as to why there is a delay.

Best of luck - think you should be ok. Let us know

John

Still awaiting our GCMS notes. Ordered them on 24 July, 2016.
