how do you know if the visa has been approved in gcms notes ?

Hey,

you can't really know if the visa has been approved from the notes, but you can get an idea of where the VO is at, and what they have assessed, and what they think. It also allows you to prepare yourself better if you are required to attend an interview. for example, if you see in the notes that the VO has doubts about your relationship, you can start preparing some more proofs etc.
Ordering them will give you an idea of where they are with your application and the general idea, but I don't think you can get the idea about the visa - you will only know that you are approved when they tell you officially.

thanks for the quick reply. i already have my notes .. and what can i see from there. that eligibility passed as well as criminality . and now security is blank and medical is in process .(second medical) .. what can you tell from those notes.. and if you have any idea that security check its been done or still in process. even though i heard that security stay blank . and u would not know if they are done or not. is that true. please some answers would be appreciated ...

"Selection Decision" would give you an idea. If it says passed, then that means you are eligible to receive a visa.
