Hello experts,

I got my GCMS notes for my PR application (SINP non-EE, outlander) today and there're somethings confusing me:
1. The only stage which is passed is Medical. Info Sharing is in progress. Others are not started. But when going into details of Info Sharing, I got 2 diffrent status as belows:

*INFO SHARING: 1
Created Date: 2022/11/22
Updated Date: 2022/11/22
Type: Biometric - FCC Detail
Partner: USA
Status: Ready to be Assessed
Validity Date:
Status Updated Date: 2022/11/22
Due Date: 2022/11/23

*INFO SHARING: 5
Created Date: 2022/11/22
Updated Date: 2022/11/22
UCI #:
Family Name:
Given Name(s): T
Type: Biometric - FCC
Partner: USA
Status: Complete - Not Reviewed
Validity Date: 2023/02/20
Status Updated Date: 2022/11/22
Due Date: 2022/11/23

=> My question is if the Info sharing stage is completed or in progress. It says "in progress" in the summary but the details make me confused. My husband (dependant applicant) got the same details as mine but he's never been in USA, but he failed for USA visa once so I guess that's why his USA info sharing is updated.

2. My criminality check stage is not started according to the summary but the details shows the status: passed-bio and the notes says: Based on Schedule A and Police Certificate review, Recommendation Passed. What does it mean? Have they started to process the criminality check or not?

3. The weirdest thing is Eligibility check is not started. As read on many sources, I thought the Eligibility check usually went first but apparently they are processing the background check before it. Furthermore, I got a RPRF request on Nov 22, 2022 - at the same time as AOR (the request date is the same as the status updated date on my Info Sharing details) - According to CIC, getting RPRF request means the application is approved, some says they sent RPRF request when eligibility is passed or recommended passed. But it seems my case is far different and my application is still far from getting PPR :(. Can you please advise?

4. Not related to the GCMS, I got refusal for my Work permit just a few days after getting AOR. The reason is they are not satisfied that I will leave Canada because of the lack of family ties in my country (my husband and kid are included in my application as dependants). It's obviously true because I'm applying for PR. My WP application came with the province nomination and WP support letter from SINP but they still refused my visa because of this weird reason. My question is: will this visa refusal affect my PR application - like is that the reason why the eligibility check is being delayed? There's no notes showing my WP is refused on the GCMS.

I'm looking forward to your answers. Thank you very much!

Hi! This question is related with your WP application.

I also applied for the same stream. I have applied WP on 10 March and PR on 30 March. However, my WP application (spouse not accompanying) has not approved yet until now and my PR (spouse not accompanying when I submitted PR application) in progress there's a bit of delay as I have added my spouse as accompanying after AOR. Though Bio and ME for PR has been completed while my spouse has no Bio and Med request yet. We have paid all fees, bio, pr fee, right of pr fee.

Now my question is, when did you apply for WP and when did you received refusal for your WP? MY Bio (23 March) and MED (5 April) for WP has been completed while RE (13 April) and BC (11 March) still in progress. I am very anxious as the approval is taking so long. I have been waiting since 13 April when eligibility started. I am on my 14th week of waiting since I applied.

Looking forward for your reply.

Hi. I received PPR for PR finally. The WP refusal didn't affect the PR process at all. Here my timeline:

SINP non EE
Applied for WP and PR same time
Sep 12, 22: bio for both
Nov 22, 22: AOR
Nov 28, 22: WP refusal letter
Nov 30, 22: RPRF request
April 18, 23: ADR for PPC and schedule A update
May 13, 23: ADR submitted
May 15, 23: remedical request
May 16, 23: remedical done
May 24, 23: remedical result updated
May 25, 23: PPR for PR

Good luck!

Wow congratulations! the whole process was about 9 months is it?

Just one more question, when did you receive PAL, medical passed, portal 1, Portal 2 and eCOPR?

I hope I can expect mine to be approved by September or October this year!
