Hello All,

I noticed reading many comments and excel sheets, that when you sent your application, your get the AOR after 2-3 months, does it means during that time they do NOT touch your application at all ?

Thank you !!

There are limited people to work on applications, so it is not surprising at all.

yes, the day its opened, reviewed for being a complete application than AOR is issued.

Why then, it stays there for 2-3 months ?
Also, I ve seen many people posting their timeline for citizenship. It is a paper application (not like EE online), so how come they got to know then its AOR or IP ... ?

Cheers

@xylene already answered your question. There are limited people to work on the large number of applications IRCC receives. They have to deal with backlog.

How applicants know when they have AOR or IP? IRCC will notify the applicant by mail (or email if the person opted for email). Plus applicants can track the progress of their application online via a portal called ECAS.

how to log in on ECAS ? Can we log in there only after AOR

I see, thank you guys !
So you would not have the same login page as for EE or PR ... It would be ECAS. Got it !

And at what stage, you know your applicaiton is approved ? Because again after the test, oath ceremony might take 3-4 months dependins on how many people they want to have. That being said, when you know all is done ? right after the test ?

Thanks,Cheers,

Hello guys,

I wonder, where are citizenship applications processed? Some say they are resent from Sydney to local provincial IRCC offices and processed there. Where did you get AOR letter from..Sydney or local office?

You know that’s done when a citizen judge gives you the citizenship certificate at the end of the citizenship oath ceremony.

Anything else before that might take undefined amount of time and waiting.
