My group sponsored refugees in Kenya. I have two things that I would like help with. If anyone has been in similar situation or knows anything, please let me know.
The first issue is that my file had a defacto dependent who required separate application filled out. We heard back from IRCC in February 2018 that the file for the Principal Applicant was sent to Nairobi visa office for processing but we haven't heard back about the file for the defacto dependent. It still says 'application received' in the ecas system. No further movement that we are aware of and it is kinda bugging me.
Secondly, the application status for the file that was sent to Nairobi visa office was 'in process' until this week. it was changed back to 'Application Received'. I'm concerned because this looks like a step back. Is this good or bad?
