Funded GIC on 25 OCT(friday) ..STILL not RECEIVED GIC certificate !!

minimum 2 weeks,i funded my account on 29 oct and got my certificate on 8th nov....

It should come within 8-10 days. I guess you may file the visa till 30th Nov for Jan 14 intake.

I paid on 6th November and sent them the copy of reciept on 8th. still waiting for response.............if anybody gets it please mention here the dates.

Did you send the TT receipt to the bank?

I sent the TT receipt and received the certificate next day. In all, it took 6-7 days and that too because I delayed in sending TT receipt.

Simply reply to the email received in the secure mailbox and attach the TT receipt.

Send TT today from my gmail id which is attached to GIC secure mail. made a big mistake by not sending TT earlier. hope now i will get till monday or tuesday. thnx.

i sent mail for opening my gic account on 12th number....not received the acc number till date....i need to go for tha jan intake...wat are my chances of clearing the gic process before 30th november so that i can apply for a visa

They take around 4-5 working days to send you the transfer details. You may get it today or on Monday.

Guys, I am reading this thread and saw you guys talking about emailing Scotia bank, the TT receipt from local bank after wire transfer. Do we really have to do this? ??? I funded my GIC on 11th. I haven't sent any TT receipt to bank.

me too, if it was mandatory scotia bank would have mentioned about sending it.

Its not mandatory to send them Wire transfer slip. my friend got his certificate in 5 days without sending the slip. but it's worth a shot to send them slip as for the safe side. so my advise to you guys to send them the wire transfer slip to avoid any more delay.

Thanks, Okay now what should be the subject and address for this email containing TT receipt. i am asking as we have to send very specific emails to Scotia bank.
