Dear All,

I sent my passport for visa stamp. I had arranged employment and the employer is asking me to join them asap. Do I need to take the fund support like (around CND 10000) as the traveller cheque to show the immigration officer in Canada ? Can you please kindly confirm on this.

Since you have arranged employment you do not need to take funds with you .However it is always usful to carry funds with you for initial expenses.

then no need to take lot of money cad$10000 is enough

Thanks for the prompt and useful reply. I will not like CND 10 000 but I will a certain amount to start my life even though I can stay with my relatives for a few months. Thanks again !!

you can Enter with few CAD$ for your initial stay, because you have job on hand. no need to show any fund for you and your dependend too.
