Hi everyone,
I'm currently in my third semester, and to graduate, I need to complete a co-op. While part-time co-op and full-time study simultaneously would be ideal, it's challenging to find such opportunities.
I've secured a full-time co-op position, but I'm concerned about the legal aspects, particularly with the upcoming restriction on working more than 20 hours per week from May 2024, coinciding with my co-op term. My co-op is scheduled for my fourth semester, and I can't delay it to the fifth semester due to it being a return internship.
My program coordinator has approved the arrangement, but there's uncertainty about the legal side. I've tried contacting IRCC without success. Has anyone successfully navigated full-time co-op and full-time study concurrently without violating study permit regulations or affecting the PGWP?
Thank you!
