Dear my e-status changed yesterday (20th July-10) as I mentioned in my previous e-mail and yesterday itself I have received POST MAIL 2nd AOR dated 12th July-10.

Hope you will get your 2nd AOR soon InshAllah..

But in meantime, you can use your 1st AOR to check your e-status..

Any one who got their 2nd AOR from Buffalo office , USA.. Seems to be very slow with buffalo???

I also sent my application to Buffalo MAy24 but till now nothing change to my status neither 2nd AOR... :-[

Hope they will start working for May applicants....they are indeed the SLOWEST CIC ever..... :( :( :(

Yeah it seems to be slowest as it is almost 2 months and no updates... Is there any new message on you case like documents recieved or in process or anything???? :( :( :( :( :(

Actually I am planning to avail the CAISP to at least know whats going on w/ regards to my file.
Have you heard anything about it? Is it really helpful?

Hi nick985,

CAIPS stands for Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System, the software used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Canadian diplomatic missions to track visa applications.
You really don't need CAIPS unless there is a long delay in your application or there is an interview required. In that case, through CAIPS you can check the status of your application and the confusions raise in your case by the visa officer.

today i received letter from london office and they give new code to see status.it mean this is my 02nd AoR.
letter is dated 09 july 2010 but my status change on 13 july and letter received 22 july

I sent my full documents in May and E cas status shows received by Visa office, I have not received my 2nd AOR. is this normal anyone with a similar experience should pls share

yes flush, this is normal..we are the same timeline. Hopefully in few days we will re ceive this precious letter. All the best flush!

Unfortunately your case is normal... Buffalo received my full documents May 24 but until now no 2nd AOR neither updates in my e-cas
would you mind sharing your timeline to us???

I M ALSO GOING 4 CAIPS. THIS WUD B MOR HELPFULL. I THINK LONDON PAKISTAN APPLICANTS VISA SECTION IS BZI IN CLEARING BACKLOG AND SECURITY CHECKS. I BELIEVE NO PAKISTANI APPLICANTS HAVE RECVD ANY AOR FROM LONDON.
