Hi,

In http://www.cic.gc.ca/ we can see average processing time by each visa office. From which period it counts.
If it says 12 months does that 12 months starts when application is filled or it starts since when ?

same happened for me below is the status on Ecas.

We received your application for permanent residence on January 15, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 1, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on March 10, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the London England office on July 27, 2010. The London England office may contact you.


Please advise when should we expect our 2nd AOR and when they will start verifying our case.

I got my second AOR by regular mail on my postal address from chc london.

this is a simple letter and my post man will throw away on my gate, it is not a registry letter, if I dont check on my gate then I may not able to get the letter, all of you be aware because this is not a letter like DHL OR TCS, it is a simple letter.

all of you can share your experience.

Hi Arashtdii,

My category is 0213 and Visaoffice is Buffalo.(Application recvd in CIO,Sydney on 16th Dec,2009 & 1st AOR recvd on 16Feb 2010)
My application reached Buffalo office on 17th May2010,waiting for 2nd AOR and also no change in e-cas Status yet.
when did u receive ur 1st AOR from CIO,Sydney..pls reply...
