Guys,

Is the process comparatively faster for someone who is working in canada currently on a work permit + Arranged employment letter? Or our applications are in the same queue as FSW1 category? Any ideas.

Hi LondonOntario,

Earlier, my assumption was that AEO applications probably have a priority. However, observing the trend on this forum, I haven't been able to find any correlation. Infact, AEOs are undergoing more background checks not just for the candidate but also for the employer. Some AEO applicants have been asked to submit further proof to the local visa office about the existence of the employer, tax returns etc. Probably the same list of documents that the employer had submitted to Service Canada to obtain the AEO in the first place!

Got second AOR on 21st August

Hi STS,
I have updated my VO received date and updated my E-cas status.
And I got a question for our group, Will 2nd AOR have different file number when compared to 1st AOR? If that is the case then should we check our e-cas status with file number that is mentioned in 2nd AOR?

I had file number starting with "B" (Bxxxxxxxxx) in 1st AOR. Does it will be same in 2nd AOR also?

STS or shailendra or some one who got 2nd AOR, please answer and if possible paste the format of that letter.

The New Delhi visa office sends a hardcopy letter (postal regular mail) which mentions a new file number starting with B*********, typical processing time at the visa office (which is 8 months), and a few bar code labels that quote the new file number. The bar code labels are to be affixed on any communication (document) that we do henceforth with the local visa office concerning our immigration application.

The 2nd AOR from New Delhi does not come in e-mail. So it is difficult to put the contents of the letter on this forum. Yes, you can check the e-case status with the new file number.

i want to ask that it is now more than 1 month that i have sent my documents to chc and even my status on e cas has been changed to recieved by visa office immediately afterwards but still i have not recieved any AOR from chc
should send them a e mail or fax them for the same
