Guys,
I am a little confused - some help here

What do we have to enclose in respect to medical examination in the final packet. Is it just the receipts of medical examination as I have not received any forms back from DMP. So correct me if I am wrong ..my final packet would consist of
1. Passports old and new
2. DD (fees)
3. Medical examination receipts.
4. Cover letter

Is there any thing missing like photos or related documents. Just so that I am sure I have the covered every thing. Thanks guys.

MINE PROCESSING STARTS FROM 14 OCT 2010 BUT STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY MEDICALS WHAT DOES IT MEANS?. AS OTHER CANDIDATES RECEIVED THEIR MEDICALS WITHIN ONE WEEK AFTER THEIR STATUS TURNS TO IN PROCESS

Hi

me too in the same boat.my e cas update was on Oct 26( processing since Oct 18). I understand that the delay in medical request is also possible if foreign travels are made. This is my opinion, because I have made 2 foreign trips and updated to ND visa office on Oct 18..what about you???

Seniors, any idea????

Ajith

hii guys..
I also share the opinion that if u have foreign travel history it gonna delay tour processing.
I m having 3 months foregn travel history to one gulf country,
My case is in process since 6th july, and after sending case specific enquiry they replied that more investigation is required before taking final decision on my case.
So b patient, have good luck.

Hi Imran,
The fee is $490 per adult at the conversion rate mentioned in the letter which you would receive. The best way to carry money into Canada would be to open a Canadian bank account thru HDFC and move your funds into that bank account and carry your debit card and bank statement to show the same.

How much amount of money we should carry to Canada...?

Well Imran, A good question - it surely would depend on how much you can spare to maintain liabilities in 2 countries. I say that if you plan on going to Canada for a short while and then come back to wrap up your house and other formalities like getting your children out of school and selling some of your assets. I would suggest from my experience in US that you would require at least 2000 CAD for you and your spouse per month for the temp living. So if your 1st stay is of 6 months then carry12000 at least. The balance requirement you can fulfill by doing a survival job at a grocery store or mall. If you lucky and get a job in your field then all your issues are over. I will be carrying at least 20000 CAD and then i would have to make a final trip back home to wrap up. If you are just interested in showing funds then transfer the maximum you can in that bank account - you can always move funds from your one account to the other. The idea is to show them you have access to funds.

CAforCA, Well said.

I am also planning to take around 20-25 K and see how it goes on from there.

What is your child's PP status
