Zeba.....What's mentioned in the AOR.
Is it that you application is in process or any details if you can share please.

2nd aor will contain 2 pages with new file number for ND,and some rules and regulations,along with some stickers with barcodes

i have got my 2nd aor in march 1st week.with the new rule on ielts,i m soo tensed.
i have given my written proof of language from my university,but now wht to do .i dnt knw if it is acceptable from ND visa office.
should i wait for ND to ask me my ielts score???or send them the score be4 they ask,but if i send it be4 they ask ,hw will they match my doc with my score ???hw will tehy knw???plzzz HELP

Zeba.....
If you have given a written explanation about your language proficiency and it was accepted by CIO and the same was forwarded to CHC then no need to worry about it and no need to give IELTS.
If required then the local CHC would ask you to submit your IELTS if they are not satisfied with your Language Proof.
But if you have not given any proof then i would ask you to Book your IELTS quickly and give it to CHC....
Booking the IELTS and the result period itself would take around 1.5 Months.
So i would suggest you to act fast upon this and get these things done with utmost priority.
Please respond what proof you have given to CIO and CHC and let me know if this helped you.

Also BTW why did you get you AOR by post ?
Did u specify that your primary contact would be by Post ?

no i had not specified tht i want through post,bt still i got it through post.
and about language ,i have given written certificate from madras University medium is english.
and in case i give IELTS ,and send it hw will they match my docs with my ielts score,ii mean should i send it with my file number stating it is from this applicant with this file nos??

Proof of Language :
At the time of submission of your application to a Visa Office, you will need to submit language test results from a designated testing agency or establish your proficiency through a written explanation and supporting documentation.
CIC strongly advises that you provide the results of a language test if English or French is not your first language. Written submissions are only recommended for applicants whose first language is English or French.

If you have submitted a written explanation about your Language no need to worry.
If required then CHC would ask you to give an IELTS.
So chill and all the best

whether you mention or not, CHC send AOR by post only.
But thats normal procedure followed.

@ ZEBA,

as u have got assessment already done ,So new rules won't effect you hence relax ,CHC will request if IELTS required .

BUT what you mean as u wrote "2nd aor in march 1st week.with the new rule on ielts" what new rules on IELTS are mentioned there.

As I have already said u just chill,

But as per CHC's new views and thinking ,I would ask u to give IELTS to secure and save time .

so if i got 2nd aor ,it means my eligibility is complete i.e i have the required points for PR,so i assume tht my written proof from my UNIV for language,has been accepted.then why to give ielts exam?
wht say seniors????
