Yes. I have traveled to Canada couple of times in the past (somewhere around 2001-2) and to US around 4-5 times in the last 5 years.
All the travels have been as part of my work, and were arranged by my employers.
I dont remember whether my finger prints were taken by the Canadian authorities, but US Immigration does have my fingerprints records.
so there is no need to worry then , they will only cross check your finger prints with their data base . some times what happens is your name can be simliar to their data base so they will just cross check with your finger prints. do take along your identity documents as well
