FYI, friend of mine sent his full application to damascus on may 2010 .Just few days ago his e-case change from RBVO to "in process"
but he is on Job offer category.
mine is more than 8 months still is RBVO..

Hi Azar, is your e case says "RBVO" still?? or it is in process?? I am waiting more than 9 months and still says RBVO.

Hi everyone, friend of mine, he had a job offer he provide his full doc. to damascus on late april 2010, late december his ecase truned to in-prosses and the same time they sent a medical request. I think our file is already in prosses ( hopefully) even in ecase says RBVO,
OMG. I can not wait anymore.....I alrady with for 9 months and 15 days so far.

I am a FSW applicant to the Damascus visa office. I received my 2nd AOR in Sept 2010 and am now waiting for the next step. As a result of a vacation I took to Canada in July 2010, I met with certain professional services firms and as a result I have gone through an interview process, from which a job offer may materialise over the next month.
Assuming that I get the job offer , I have two questions:
1. If the employer applies for a work permit on my behalf, what happens to my immigration process and the status of my family
2. If the employer merely offers the job, what steps do I need to undertaken to expedite the immigration process?

I am writing to you to check my application status, because it is more than 10 months when I received 2nd acknowledgement of receipt on 4th may 2010, even though I sent you an enquiry 28 works days, unfortunately without responding from you.

Regarding to the Processing times for federal skilled worker applications processed by visa offices outside Canada, so the processing time for Damascus office is 9 months hope to have a response form you about my application and when this process is going to be finalized.
