dear Arash. You received your second AOR from Damascus in the same month as me. Have you heard any promising news from the office lately? I was reviewing time lines of applicants in other visa offices. I was just surprised to see they are receiving their visas. This nice office is a bit lazy!!!!!

do you have any up-to-date info. ?? my ecase still says recived by visa office and processing time is changed at the website from 5-6 months to 8 months for Damascus office.
my sister applied on March 2008 and just last week she got her visa

I have sent my full docs to CHC Damascus on early May but I have not yet received 2nd AOR and my ecas still shows eligibility review... I don't know whether it is normal or not
I think Damascus is a little slow... but I guess my application is getting very long
I am really worried.
Please advise.

The second AOR is actually a new file number along with some instructions on what to do while your documents are being processed.
If you have not received this e-mail since May it is really abnormal. I think you should send an enquiry to Damascus.

Hi Arash
I recomand you contact with Damascus office and use your file # from sydney, caz you should recive new file # until now and 2AOR from damascus.

Hi all
I sent of full set of docs to Damascus on 01 June 2010 and have still to receive my 2nd AOR. My ecas status has also not chnaged from the Eligibility Review by the CIO. The instructions I received stated that I had 3 montsh from the 1st AOR to send off my documents, which I did within a week and now 2.5 months later I still have not received my 2nd AOR.

It seems from the timelines, that after May 2010, there seems to be some sort of delay... any suggestions?

Hi all,
Is there any May applicant who has not received 2nd AOR and his/her ECAS is not updated?
My full docs have reached VO in early May but I have not yet received 2nd AOR.
My ECAS is still showing Eligibility Review- CIO

Anybody in the same situation?
Friends, please advise.
