Hi arashtdii,

My NOC is same as yours 0213.

I just noticed in another thread, that a member who sent his papers in May 2009, his case has just recently changed to "In Progress" that is in May 2010!!!

It would be very disappointing if it takes 1 year to change from "Received by VO" to "In Progress"... this means we have a long long time to wait

Actually I am also a member of that forum too but unfortunately I do not have access to post there.
I was planning to launch a similar thread as the one we have here, since there are more Damascus applicants.
I have emailed the admins several times but still no response.
Anyway, have also applied for PR? At what stage are you?

It is almost a month since my full docs were delivered to CHC Damascus but I have neither received 2nd AOR nor ECAS update.
I am starting to get worried... I want to know if this is normal. How long do you think I should wait?

Hello all
I sent my full appl. & duc. to damascus, I got new file # on April 21,2010 by email, my e-case is still "Received By Visa Office".
NOC is 4131
I am still waiting..... by immigration website I am hoping to get my request for medical on Dec. or Jan. 2011. lets see....

you can check my times in that wiki , but i think for my application it takes 1 month for 2nd AOR (2nd file number)

I sent my app. to sedney on Oct. 2009 got my Aor + file#+ letter for 120 days full doc. to visa office all on same time by eamil on Dec. 2009.
and sent my full doc. to damascus end of may 2010 after almost 1 month e-case changed from recived by sedney to recived by visa office. and i got my 2th aor and new file# on April 21 , 2010. still says the same thing " reviced by visa office"
I think takes 4-5 months that they start processing and change e-case. what a bout you?
