not yet. we have almost the same timeline. I have read in one forum u rcvd verification call. what did they asked you? what number did they used? mobile num or a local tel num?

Recd by Visa Office : 1 Feb 2010
AOR received : 7/8 Feb 2010
In Process : 15 Feb 2010

Let's keep in touch - our AOR letter stated that we should hear from the Visa Office by 11 May 2010.

I am actually dreading the medicals - both hubby and me are very very overweight and are trying to get in shape and eat healthy! So i am not sure anymore whether to feel happy or cry if I check the post!
 
Charbonel , Meena , SD .. I am running a week 10 days behind u guys .. So whatever happens with u guys will be a good heads up .
SD .. I am overweight too , n I am a lil worried abt the medicals . But my last years wellness check up was goos , no problems . My Triglyceride level was in the upper limit , but I was advised by ppl in the forum and also a doc that I dont need to worry too much abt that .
Key is - drink lots of water. cut fatty food ( ghee, fried stuff etc) and eats lots of fruits and vegetables.

Though I alreday recvd V.Call and it was fine too, I have not recvd any update.

My Status is still 'In rocess'.

Anushauc - thanks for the reply - crossing my fingers for you too! i might not have the same worries as you as i am vegetarian, but my insulin levels are abit high ( under control through medication) and i was googling yesterday - apparently they ask overweight people to go for extra tests for ECG and if one is very obese - the ECG shows abnormal...am really stressed about that! My BMI is over 40 which is very high and thats what worries me.

SD .. I am a vegetarian too ... So did not have to change too much .
I did an ECG last year and I am fine there . BP n sugar r also normal .

Y dont u consult ure family doc or some local doc , explain the situation and see what can be done to make ure reports look good when u go for ure meds in a month say ..

@ SD, my visa office is also pretoria, my online status change toady "receive by visa office"
 
Anushauc - we thought the same :) have booked "dummy" tests with doctor next month to see what the health is looking like - we figure we will still have another month after that to be careful before we go for medicals.

Cut - good to find a fellow pretoria applicant. thats great to know. should change to in process in a couple of weeks - good luck!
