hi seniors....while submitting full application at VO, we have to submit the letter of reference as stated....

original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers. Letters must be written on company letterhead and show the company’s full address, telephone and fax numbers, and be stamped with the company’s official seal.

please anyone can advise me,,what does it mean? i have job experience letter along with detail contact address of my company in company letter head signed by managing director of company. is it sufficient as a part of that requirement or that is different letter? do you think that the manager should write anything about the refree?? plz advise me...

Any update from Singapore visa office in Jan and Feb?

I received my second AOR from Singapore in 22nd Feb 2010, but my status has not changed to in process yet.

This is in reference to your query.
For example you have worked for a particular company from 2005- 2007. While leaving the organisation they would have surely given u a experience certificate.
Next u worked for say another employer from 2007- 2009. Here too the same exp certificate must have been issued.
And now u r currently working for a company.
You need to go to those 2 prior employers and ask them to issue a similar letter with current date and put in all those required fields like position, period of employment , salary drawn etc.
While sending to CHC include the 1st exp letter along with the latest ref letter u get.

thanks alot. it means..the same letter with exp/salary/duties in present date serves the purpose of ref. letter. am i right? i have made such letter about 5months before from my country. right now i am in UK. i have to make another???or it can be useful to send VO.
