I have been following this thread for a long time, and was also participating on and off. I got visa stamped on my passport yesterday and wanted to share my story.

Applied under Federal Skilled Worker category and have the following timeline:

File / App Received 02nd Oct 2014
PER 14th Jan 2015
File transferred to CVO from NDVO /AOR 26 Feb 2015
Medical for me 15th May 2015
Medical done 15th June 2015
Medical for wife 30th June 2015
Medical done 15th Jul 2015
Meds received 01st Aug 2015
Mail for passport submission 28th Sep 2015
Passport sumitted 05th Oct 2015
Decision Made 09th Oct 2015
Passport Received 12th Oct 2015


One thing to mention here, I applied on 02nd Oct and then i got married in end of November, but only received Marriage certificate on 22nd Feb. So after AOR mail, i informed the CVO about marital status.

They only replied on 15th May 2015 to provide updated and additional supporting docs, along with medical test only for me. For my wife they said, once they add her in application after that mail will come for her medicals.

I wish all the aspirants good luck, and encourage to have patience as nothing is in your hand but to wait.

How can you receive passport in future??

Today is 11th October. And your post says you have already received passport on 12th October. Is it a typing mistake or you are gong to collect your passport tomorrow?

Hi All,

My case is that I completed meds for myself and spouse on 11-May-2015 however furtherance email was received from Regional Medical Office, New Delhi for my spouse. We completed all furtherance tests (sputum and culture, repeat X-ray, pulmonologist consultation) successfully on 13-Aug-2015.

It's now been almost two months since Max hospital in New Delhi submitted our re-medical reports to the Canadian embassy, however I have not seen any progress in terms of ECAS update or PPR email.

Is there anyone from New Delhi, India in this forum who was asked for Furtherance sputum tests?

I have searched about this section..it means law enforcement and investigation...
Does it means they are preparing to enforce some law on me and finish my case...

They are not enforcing any law to finish ur case...under this law they hide certain information related to their investigations or verifications...once verification will b complete u will get mr.
Many got mr who had this section mentioned in their notes..so dnt wry.

Anyone who did their MR in september receive their PPR? on an average how much time does it take between MR and PPR. I am aware that applicants who did their Medicals in May received their PPR in September, but i believe that could be cause of some delays and usually it doesn't take that long.

What about receipt of medicals confirmation in eCAS, is that still being updated?
