Hi Guys!

Indeed this is a fantastic forum which provide quite comprehensive information regarding Canadian Immigration.I am new to the idea of immigration.From the Canadian website i got enough information but again want to confirm it as i might be wrong in calculating my points.

I m 34 years old Electrical engineer working in Telecom sector since past 10 years with IELTS score : R=7,S=7,L=7.5,W=6.5 (Have no Canadian Work Experience)

As per my calculation, my Break-Down & Total Points for FSWP are :

English = 22
Education = 23 (BSC Electrical Engineering+MSC Engineering Management)
Experience = 15 (NOC -2147)
Age =12
Total = 72

Please correct me if i am wrong and also suggest me if i am able to apply for Express Entry visa??

//Thanks

You are eligible under FSW program but please calculate your CRS score using the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
You need a CRS score of at least 480+ as per the current trend in order to get Invitation to apply(ITA).If you are married then you can get your spouse IELTS and ECA done to add more points to your CRS.

If you don't have enough CRS points to get ITA then you can check your eligibility to apply for the various Provincial Nomination programs to get additional 600 points to your CRS score using the link http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/summary-of-eligibility-requirements-for-all-express-entry-pnp-streams-t432937.0.html.

You may also try finding an LMIA backed job offer in Canada to get additional 600 points but the chances are very slim for people living outside Canada.

I would also suggest you to aim for CLB 9+ (LRWS-8,7,7,7) in all sections of IELTS to boost your CRS score.All the best.!!
