FSWP 2014, Who got VISA and ready to move to Canada.

Dear all,

As the FSWP 2014 comes to a close for accepting applications Today, many of us have received VISA and some others will receive VISA soon.

Now the second part of immigration, ie settling in Canada comes. We all have lot of aspirations and questions about life in Canada, this can be tougher challenge and we will need lot of networking to succeed.

Let's come together and help each other out to discuss our 1. Preperation for landing 2. Job searches 3. To look for accommodation (may be some of us can plan to stay together initially, so that costs will be less), internet mobile phone, obtaining SIN, PR card, OHIP card (for ontario), schools if we have kids and 4. Social networking and support.


My NOC is 2174, I received Visa recently.. Planning to move to Canada in May as it is summer and it is the best time for looking for Jobs and finding school for the kid.

Pl share your thoughts and let's work for each other and help each other.

May as it is summer and it is the best time for looking for Jobs and finding school for the kid.

Finding school for kids depends on the area where you could afford rent pay for your family.
And no, summer is, actually, the worst season to look for a job: everybody is on vacation or planning to go on vacation and do not leave his/her job till coming back from vacation. The same with HR: not many HR are looking for candidates in summer for the same reasons.
