Hi Guys!!! Received my MR just today. Haven't received the forms yet, though. Thank you, Lord!!! The best!!

But my question is... When should I pay my RPRF? Should I be the one sending the medical results or the clinic/ hosp should be doing that for me?

Hi silent reader po. We arrived in canada last october 14 via korean air wala nman tanung sa immigration basta show lang docs! Sa money naman ask lang how much we are carrying. We were only carrying 8k cad for a family of 3! Toronto kami and it is very cold na! Mababait naman mga tao but everything here is very slow!so far naayos pa lang namin is sin numbers and bank accounts after 2 weeks wala pa din ang credit card namin and nahirapan kami to get an apartment need ng guarantor and the guarantor should either be a citizen or a pr for 3 years na me good credit standing. Considering may work na ang hubby ko. So mas maganda tlga na meron relative to help you and guide you. Kami malayong relative lang nandito but napilitan kami to ask for help.

Congrats at may job na husband mo! Ang gaming naman, any tip on job hunting?

BTW,anong bank open nyo ng account? Where did you stay after landing? Good thing na you have a relative there.

Hope you can post again. This are the post that would help us in our transition.

Plus 1 to you.

Mukhang madami naman available na jobs here sinwerte lang din kme kc from sg kme tapos nilipat na lang husband ko sa us branch nila so work from home sya canada base pero us employee. very important dito ung credit rating kaso tau g immigrants wala pa nun so lahat mahirap. Right niw nakikitira kami sa north york moving tom sa apartment. Pagdating need muna get ng sin number even kids need their own sin number then open a bank account nag open kami sa td bank mejo mas maganda kc ang presence nya here dineposit namin ung cash namin keep ka lang ng enough oang gastos tapos apply na ng credit card need mo lang ipakita sa bank is sin number and your copr tapos dadating pa ata ang cc after 3 weeks so most ng gastos will be in cash. Then apply ng sim card need ng credit card pag kukuha sim card so we used muna ung sg card namin tapos copr and passport.

Tapos napakahirap ng transpo kng magcocomute kau halos 1 transaction lang magagawa nyo per day sa sobrang lalayo at tagal ng wait for bus. So kng makakapunta kau sa mall na malaki pde kau makapagopen ng bank account dun at the same time apply ng sim card. Initially we stayed sa mississauga area then we moved dito sa north york mas convenient kc dito dahil halos tabi tabi na ang mga shops.

Hi Wiggles. Did you tell them that you were only carrying 8K CAD or did you say that you were carrying the min amount for 3 pax? As mentioned earlier, ako kasi mauuna mag land and I don't want to bring yet the whole POF for the 4 of us since my wife and 2 kids will follow in about a yr pa naman. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

Sobra dme pinoy here mukhang ok nman life nila cguro kc nakaestablish na cla. I really cannot say pa about ganu kahirap hanap work kc di pa nman ako nagtatry though ang sabi ng mga pinoy here madami daw survival jobs pero sa tingin ko if you have good qualifications try to find na ung sa field nyo kc mahirap din ang work lalo na need mi consider ang weather pero it is good kng mauuna muna ang isa sa inyo dito pra mas flexible lalo kng wala kau relatives na sasalo sa Inyo. Mahal kc tlga lahat kahit food.

Swerte pla kayo at may job na si hubby, mukha maganda ang work nya as its homebase. The catholic school is private ba?

Sa studio 6 ba kyo nag tempo stay? If yes,Safe naman ba for female indv to stay?

Very informative ang post mo, specially yon maharap ang transpo. I suppose isa to sa adjustment natin as some of as are used to driving here and pag commute naman eh walang bus stop bus stop sa pinas :)

Mahirap ba daw kumaha ng drivers license dyan? I read na pdeng magdrive for 60days lng after which need na ng Canadian drivers license.

Against thanks sa post mo, really informative.

Nope not studio 6. We stayed sa hotel near the airport...star express ata name but not recommended as its very far from everything. Pagdating mo here at gsto mo na get ng car you need to apply G1 drivers license tapos basta me certificate ka from lto na matagal ka na drive you can skip g2 and take the road test for G license. Di pa namin natry mag rent ng car pro pde nga ata, ang car rental kc is around $60cad-80cad per day tapos need ng insurance
Yung catholic school is public din pero preferred namin kc iba pa din culture e at least man lang mainstill ung part na un sa bata.
