Ms Willow05, kung papuntang Alberta parang di yata kelangan ng travel/medical insurance. Kami kasi pa BC, ikinuha kami ng bro in-law ko ng travel/medical insurance sa manulife for 3 months, parang ang plan A nila for a family ay a little over 500 CAD. nagcheck din ako dito sa atin sa bluecross, may site sila. mga mahigit 500 USD naman yung kanila. kaya yung bro ko opted for the cheaper manulife.

We are also looking for options ng health insurance, just to be safe lang din.

Yung sa CIIP seminar they advice to get a health insurance, kasi they had a client before daw pagdating nila dun nagka allergy yung kid and wala silang health insurance so they paid for it. :-(

Try to check the prices po ng Manila (MNL) to ► Calgary (YYC) thru http://www.skyscanner.com/.
Then filter nyo na lang kung ilang stops ang preferred nyo.

Sa mga 1 stop flights, pinakamura na nakita ko ang Manila - Narita - Calgary.
You can ask your travel agency kung pwede nila kayo i-book ng tickets with this itinerary.

This is just a small step specially to those who doesn't know anybody in a new place.

We will be very grateful to have our seniors as well.

Hello po tanong ko lng sa ngmedical na.. maka affect po ba f wala kang mabasa during sa eye ckecking?when i did mine, wala talaga akong nabasa nanghuhula lang ako.hehe. i dont have glasses kasi. For those who will land in Calgary and already bought tickets.
Can you share what route did you take?

For those who already landed, would highly appreciate if you can guide us.

I already inquire from 1 travel agency and below route was given to me.

MANILA-HK-VANCOUVER-CALGARY, which means I will have 2 stops and I think all the immigration process will be done in Vancouver and it's not really favourable (maybe). Not really sure about it yet since I'm still doing my research.

Then I found out that only Air Canada provides direct flight to Calgary from Asia and this is from Narita (Tokyo, Japan). When I checked the tickets it is quite expensive. CAD 1,526 per adult (Sep-2015), this is only from Narita to Calgary, I have not checked the fare from Manila to Narita.

Now, I'm still waiting for the reply of the 3 travel agencies. Hopefully they will have a better options.

Thus, mga kababayan, hope you can guide me...Thanks a lot in advance!

Have you tried Saint Raphael travel agency? Sa lahat kasi nang pinag canvassan ko ng price cla pinakamura. pero magkaiba tayo ng destination, Edmonton nmn ako.

Wala namang problema kung Vancouver ang entry mo. Sa case ko di na ako ng travel agency para makamura. Nabili ako Manila yo Vancouver walang CAD 600 per head sa PAL online, Oct 30 ang flight, . then mgppabook na lang din later ako Vancouver to Edomton or Calgary - hindi pa nakapgdecide kung saan kami mgssette.

Mahaba din ang process para kang ng-apply uli sa cic, hehehe. Alberta ang plan namin, kaya dun ako ng research sa APEGA, check mo yung website nila, anjan lahat ng detalye.

Ngcheck ako sa PAL online ngayon, Manila to Vancouver nila less than CAD 600.00 pa rin yung mga last week of Sept na flights. Then punta ka Air Canada pabook Vancouver to Calgara nasa CAD 200 lang, malaki matitipid . Direct flight to Canada pa din na daan sa Japan.
