I'm almost done with my MR today. I've sent NBI and paid RPRF online as well.

My question is pwede ba ako magrenew ng passport (expiry: Dec 2018) while waiting for PPR? Then do I need to inform CEM and email scanned copies of renewed passport? TIA. :)

sir/mam expiry date is Dec 2018 or typographical error? mukha kasi malayo pa ang expiration nito. unless no available pages na ang Passport nio thanks.

Why do you have to renew your passport? in my case expiry ko is july 2017 at d na ako ng renew; antay ko nlg bumalik pp ko with visa this month hopefully.

Advice kc ng friend ko from Toronto if kaya ko pagrenew before PPR para un dn daw gamitin for citizenship hehe. ;)

Hello!any comments po...sabi ng friend ko pag sa probinsya daw sa canada nag settle dapat daw magkaroon agad ng car dahil mahirap magcommute lalo n pag winter..ang prob namin mag-asawa wala kami pareho license at kahiot kumuha kami ngaun e 3 years daw bago kami makakuha ng license sa canada..other option daw po ay sa city magsettle kasi dun madami bus at train..pero since may 6-month old baby kami mahirapan din daw kami magwork pareho so may possibility na si husband lng muna magwork.
iniisip ko nga na kung nakaya ng iba..malamang naman kakayanin din namin...
Panu pla pagland sa canada..panu accommodation?dun nba kayo hahanap ng bahay lalo na ung walang mga kamag-anak n kagaya namin.

Ms martinne, subukan nyo po i search yung official site ng province na plano nyong puntahan sa Canada. Tingnan nyo yung portion for immigrants at sure ako na meron dung tungkol sa accommodation. Nagsa suggest sila ng iba't-ibang temporary accommodation tulad ng mga hostel na pwede nang ipa-reserve habang nasa Pilipinas. Tapos pag land nyo dun, lapit lang kayo sa mga immigrant centers na malapit sa temporary na tirahan nyo para makatulong sa paghahanap ng affordable na apartment maski basement muna. Huwag kayong mag-alala well in place na kasi ang iba't-ibang government assistance through these immigrant centers na naglipana sa Canada para medyo soft ang landing nating mga immigrants. If nasa Canada na kayo, pwede naman mag salitan ang schedule nyo sa trabaho para meron pa ring kasama si baby, ginagawa na yan ng maraming immigrants. Pwede nyo rin namang iwan si baby sa isang childcare facility tapos mg-apply lang ng child care subsidy para di masyadong mabigat ang bayad. Lahat po ng concerns nyo sasagutin naman sa pre-departure seminar na required tayong umattend.

hi that will be a long term goal, for now just focus on the requirements muna para less hassle and less sa asikasuhin mo. and i think DFA will not allow you to renew a 3 years before expiration passport without special reason, relax muna for now and congrats! thank you and Godbless.

Normal lang yan Ms. martinne, kami rin ay nag-alaala rin kahit may mga in-laws ako sa Canada. Pasasan ba at magiging maayos din tayo lahat dun. Kung nakaya nating maging ok sa isang bansa na tulad ng Pilipinas, for sure magiging ok din tayo sa Canada na maraming oportunidad na binibigay sa mga taong nagsisipag sa buhay.

Tama si kaemeemanalo, DFA will not allow renewal kapag 3yrs pa expiry. Just take it slow, darating din tayo sa citizenship na yan; for now PR muna. :) Your pp is good na, no need to renew.

My heart literally skipped a beat! PPR in! After the delay dahil nalimutan nila magrequest ng updated pof kasabay ng MR, finally this is it! Visa valid until 3/19/2016.

Questions lang po sa mga tapos na.

Ok lang ba kung lbc isend ang passports?

Pwede kaya yung pic na ginamit nung medicals?

Pwede po ba handwritten ang appendix A?
