First of, I'd like to thank the admins and moderators for putting up this Thread. Thank you also to the members who actively take time to help newbies like me. You guys are the best! Thank you for saving us time, money and effort in our application. God Bless you!

I have a couple of questions about my FSW application. I hope someone could help me on this.

1. Do you think I still have a chance of making it before my NOC reached the CAP. My Noc is 1123, currently based on the CIC website there are 105 received applications, I plan to submit on the first week of December.
2. Can I use my land title as Proof of settlement fund? It is currently mortgaged with PAGIBIG, do I have to declare it?
3. I have an overall work experience of 8 years. 7 years as staff and last year I got promoted as head which is the NOC I am applying for, how many points do you think I can have for this? I am hoping that my experience as staff will be counted since it is somehow related to my current job.

Hi fathero,

1.) 1123 is wide open, I think you can make it, send it as soon as you can (kung kayang 1st day of December ang first week mo e better pa rin hehe)
2.) unfortunately, hindi puwede ang lang title, you need liquid assets like savings, time dep, etc.
3.) you'll get the same points if it's 6 years and higher, so whether 7 or 8 years, which is the maximum points for experience.

I have mailed my application package last August and it was received by CIC Nova Scotia last Aug 15, but up to now, I haven't heard anything from them. Just would like to check the normal processing time from your actual experience so that I would know if I have to take extra steps to have this checked.
