May share lang ako..this will matter sa nageestimate like what i was doing in this process.

My ECAS says sa second line "We stared processing your application in August 21, 2014".
Notice arrived via email August 26. Date of the mail is also August 26.

Counting the days of processing, if based on what appears on record:
=3 days
August 21,22 and 25 assuming 25 is not holiday in Canada. Embassy is an extension of the country so di holiday sa kanila ang 25.
August 23 and 24 weekend.

Made me think....fast validation!

My estimation of the processes helped me in requesting for the early end contract ng husband ko. And I was almost correct.

Sis,
Ung saken is August 12 ung nakalagay na nagstart ang CEM ng processing sa app ko.
August 6 ung PCC request
August 13 ung MR at RPRF nmn.

naguguluhan nga din ako, haha.
teka muna nga pala, nakita ko sa global thread, Passport Request kana ha, lol.
on the way plang sa Manila ung NBI Fingerprint form nmin ng hubby ko, ipa process pa sa Taft un ng sister ko tapos ipapadala nya ung NBI n mismo dito sa Canada pra ilagay ang thumbmarks nmin tapos saka ko pa maipapadala sa CEM.. o db? stressful, at ang tagal pa kaya malamang mauna pa c dbase saken, hahaha.

Hi to all pinoy aspirants,

I'm currently working on my application (i didn't sought the assistance of an agency anymore to save on costs) and I need help on how to send this via courier. I checked with DHL this morning and they informed me that they need a contact person and number for them to process the package. May I know for those who have mailed their application already on how to do this successfully? Which courier and branch did you transact with? I live in Pasay area so Manila and Makati branches are convenient for me.

Appreciate all the help I can get...

hi everyone,

i wish i found out about this forum earlier. the good news is i got my per recently. the bad news is my visa processing office is in singapore. is it too late to change the visa office? the main reason i want to change is because i hear the singapore office is very slow compared to the manila office. but a lot of my docs are from singapore (e.g. degrees, marriage certificate and bank statements). i'm worried that even if i have it transferred to the manila office they will transfer it back to the singapore office because of this issue.

wish everyone still waiting for their results the best of luck and god bless us all.

hi mapc526, I also used DHL to send my application to CIC. For the items you are asking, this is what I wrote;

Haha, mas nakakalito nga ang timeframe mo based sa record on ecas ..August 6, 12 and 13 haha. ;D ;D

Regarding sa misspelled name.
I agree, prepare an affidavit. Now if you want to correct it for other purposes para di na problema punta ka lang sa LR then may form at may set of requirements to correct spelling.
Correction case lang yan which can be done administratively no need to go to Court. In fact you can do it sa ibang LGU. Visit the nearest Registrar sa area mo. They will tell you the process.

Regarding sa nabasa ko na IELTS is not yet expired but about to expire (probably before PER) that caused the rejection of the app (global thread). Yan ang sinasabi ko na better in the safe side ka lagi. Naging usapin na yan dito sa thread dati. Di sya isolated case, previous year(s) meron ganyang case narin. PEro may probability parin na pumasok at ipasa. Depends sa evaluating officer. So sugal sya.

Mga Kabayan, tanong lang po...

kaka-submit ko lang ng application last week (thru FedEdex). By now, na-received na siguro ng CIC :) Meron po bang implication sa application ko kapag lilipat ako ng company in 2 to 3 months?
