Actually ang totoong concern ko, pede bang kapag PR na kunwari, babalik ako ng Pinas na wala pa yung PR card at ipapa fedex ko na lang sa kapatid ko kapag dumating na dun? kasi may work pa ako at jan 2016 ko pa gusto magsettle kahit halimabwa mag land ako august next year (assuming hahha)

To be honest I think hindi pwede umalis ng canada unless u have the PR card. I'm thinking what you can do is wait for it then you can go back to where you are working at right now. Not very sure about this though. Hope someone with the PR can help you with your concern.

May share lang ako..this will matter sa nageestimate like what i was doing in this process.

My ECAS says sa second line "We stared processing your application in August 21, 2014".
Notice arrived via email August 26. Date of the mail is also August 26.

Counting the days of processing, if based on what appears on record:
=3 days
August 21,22 and 25 assuming 25 is not holiday in Canada. Embassy is an extension of the country so di holiday sa kanila ang 25.
August 23 and 24 weekend.

Made me think....fast validation!

My estimation of the processes helped me in requesting for the early end contract ng husband ko. And I was almost correct.
Thanks God talaga. Kung hindi ako maagap sasakit talaga ulo ko paano ko mapapauwi husband ko.

Hindi ba single entry lang yung IM-1 na visa? Tapos you need the PR card to leave Canada? Anyway, I made some research and here is what I found.

If you return in a private vehicle, like your own car

If you return to Canada in a private vehicle, such as your own car, you do not need a PR card. You can use your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688) instead.

You would have been given these documents:

if you applied from overseas: at the same time as your visa, or
if you applied from within Canada at your local visa office when you landed.
An officer will ask you questions to make sure you meet all of the residency requirements before they allow you to come back to Canada.

When you return to Canada, apply for a PR card if you plan to travel outside Canada again.

Mukhang pwede nga yata yung naisip mo kasi sa canadian address naman idedeliver yung card. Tapos hawak mo naman yung PR card mo pagbalik hehe

I was thinking kasi baka hindi pwede umalis without the PR card knowing single entry lang yung visa tapos kelangan may PR card pagbalik.

I need to give all the applicants some information which might be helpful to many.

I received PER mail on the 3rd July, and even after a week or so, I could not access e-CAS, it always showed the message that the information provided may be incorrect and there are no records matching the data.

I called cic, and they asked me to send an email to "question @ cic.gc.ca". Additionally, the agent gave a very nice idea, he asked me to write "Follow up required" in the subject to get the response in a day or two otherwise the response will be given in 30 days.

Let me paste the mail that the cic agent had sent to me.

After I sent them the email in above format, I received a response in one day.
In fact the response was a little bizarre.

I was asked to enter my full name in the "Surname/Last Name" field instead of my last name.
And I could see my ecas status.

P.S. All those who have received PER mail and are unable to view the status, may try entering full name (first name + middle name + last name)
