Hi anyone here who has been scheduled for an interview on their visa office?? Just getting nervous... a friend of mine who is an fsw applicant from 2013 has recently been refused after the interview...=( Just want to hear from recent applicants... I am still waiting for my PER..=)

What was the reason for your friend's refusal?

hi guys

for those who are currently in Singapore and are going to be required to submit a Singapore Certificate of Clearance (COC), it is best to apply for it as soon as you received your PCC request.

Processing time of SG COC;
for Singapore citizen = 10 working days (~2weeks)
for Singapore PR/foreigner = 15 working days (~3weeks)

and remember to allow courier time for sending it to Manila VO.

Some other reminders:

• Applicants residing in Singapore are to appear in person at the COC Office located at Blk D
  Police Cantonment Complex, #02-07/08, 391 New Bridge Road, Singapore 088762. The
  office is open from 8.30am to 12.00nn, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
• Be there early. The whole process can be done in 45mins to 1hour. You will have to queue against more people if you arrived later.
• Prepare a photo copies of your passport and NRIC
• Come to the office with your forms already filled-up. You have to print, fill-up/prepare 3 forms from the MR email sent by Manila VO namely;
  • Singapore_COC_Appform.pdf
  • COC Request letter_amended.pdf
  • IP-43 SPORE CoC Appeal Applc Form.doc
• Prepare 2pcs passport picture
• Payment has increased from S$45 to S$55 with effect from 1 April 2014

An excerpt from the letter I got from the CIC (the reply letter by CIC which I mentioned in my earlier post):

"Be advised as we no longer hold your file we cannot comment on its status. Kindly contact the visa office in Manila if you have further questions regarding your file."

Do they state in the letter which date the file was transferred to the visa office? Thanks!

unicornprincess, I noticed that you put "partial" sa pcc mo, are you going to get NBI na kahit wala pa ang MR or wait mo nalang?

My Citibank CC got charged last Aug 28, Before that we where advice by Citibank to have it travel tag so that international transactions security settings will be by pass and automatically be approved by their system. The tagging if good for 2 months. Call their customer care and have it arrange so you will not be calling them every 3 days.

yes possible po ito. Yung iba bagsak sa Medical yung iba naman dahil sa Proof of Fund

ano po ba usually ang required tests sa medicals? naku kelangan din pala mgpakahealthy. time to exercise and eat/sleep healthy.

I'll wait for the request nalang before getting a new NBI clearance.
