Guys,

I'm having a bit of a headache at the moment. Nakakahilo na talaga.
I emailed NOC-CNP (noc-cnp @ workingincanada.gc.ca) to have them check if which NOC would best fit my job duties. As of my knowledge, I know I will fit into 2171 (with 1-2years experience) and 2281 (with 4 years experience)

Kaya lang just now I received their response that I match 2171 or 2172. nakakabaliw! ano ba talaga?
Sila ba ang mag che check ng Job Duties and magbibigay ng points sa application natin when it reaches CIO?

I'm pasting my Job Duties again dun sa employment which I believe should be 2281. Could you guys help go through and reconfirm for me if its really 2172 and not 2281? Please help.

• Run tests, patches, and backups on Disaster Recovery (DR) sites and raise incidents of failed machines to support team; Perform weekend shift reports
• Provide analysis and diagnosis on Remote Access issue via Citrix Server. Assist user in the set up process and installation of Secure ID RSA token, browser configuration for Remote Desktop Connection.

• Utilize Active Directory to identify user's profile, access, permissions and membership to the different secured groups, applications, shared drives, accounts, mailbox, and printers. And provide necessary access following company security policy and procedures.
• Perform software install and other issue handling with the use of remote access tools.
• Assist user using networking tools such as SSL/VPN (Secure Socket Layer/Virtual Private Network), Remote Assistance, MS Terminal Server Connection, PC Duo, RSA Authentication Manager, Citrix and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Contact person for users with networking issue such as Map drive, data sharing, TCP/IP configuration, and internet connectivity issues
• Support blackberry issues such as data synchronization, email delivery, password and enterprise resets using RIM application and configurations.
• Responsible for Information Security such as password resets for main account, LDAP, and other business applications
• MS Desktop application support such as MS Office, Outlook configuration, Exchange Server backup/restore, email profile, mailbox permissioning, and other troubleshooting

Hmmm. Kahit two weeks before, ako kasi ganon. Ok naman. Usually kapag Makati, sa mga hotel Sa intecontinental ako.

aww ok.. so ok naman sa MAKATI. HEHE.. THANKS. i saw their schedule and they have like 2x a month exam.. im considering it if wala talaga ako time thanks.. hope abot pa ko this august 15 for exam scheduling this September..

Congrats! May I ask if you called BPI in advance for them to expect this charge, o automatic na?

Not so sure pero I heard mas generous daw ang British council. I got L-8; R-7; S-7.5;W-7.5 from British council last June 7. Akala ko palpak kasi mukhang masungit ang evaluator ko sa speaking, super poker face.. Yun naman pala generous Rin magbigay. My husband got L-8; S-7; R- 6.5; W-7 which we really did not expect since 5 lang naman tlaga ang goal Nya kasi yun lang naman ang need para sa IELTS ng spouse.

Congrats, max score ka for CIC! Actually hindi yung interviewer yung nagbibigay ng grade, but a different examiner who will listen to the recording para fair yung grading.

@bellaluna: I followed the advice of the senior forum members here. yes, i called bpi in advance.
Just call their 89100 number to request them to approve a charge from nova scotia. They'll ask merchant name, approx amt in CAD, approx. time frame. The customer service rep will then forward a notice to their cards department.

IMPT! guys please check rohan's post...'language test result expired 17days after the application has been received'. his application was rejected because of that reason and alam ko may mga nagpass na near expiry ang ielts.

translated documents lang ang kelangan inotarized. yes, spouse ielts is for additional points lang but not necessary kung pasado ka naman na.
