Hi,

Tanong lang po, kung ilan total points ko dito for fsw with my 2 credentials as evaluated by WES.

Results for canadian equivalency:

1. Completion of secondary school education and Diploma (3 years)

2. Completion of secondary school education and Diploma (2 years)

Thanks po

Hi if you look at the ECA table you will just be entitled for 21 points (College Diploma 3-years).

Because if you want to claim for 22 points you should satisfy the following requirements;
"A 3 year or more post-secondary credential in combination with any of the post-secondary educational credentials** listed below. This excludes secondary school credentials. " and "2 or more post-secondary credentials (3 year or longer post-secondary credential required"
In your case you only have 1 3 years post secondary credential and the other one is only 2 years.

Alam ko one year. Bawal lumagpas otherwise mababaliwala lahat pinagpaguran mo.

@A-cheng, after 24 days pala from the time your application was received by CIO, DD encashed ka na.

Application received ka: 5/5/2014
DD encashed: 5/29/2014

E 31 days na sakin. If ever encashed na DD ko, pwede ko ba tanong sa bank ko if na-encash na nga? Is there any way to know kaso nakakakab naman magtanong haha. Pero baka wala pa since mejo na-delay nga processing ngayon dahil dami 7 May applicants.

As far as I know by August medyo bibilis na silang mgprocess since tapos na sila sa mga pending application from fsw2013 so by August we will have speedy process I think and feeling hopeful.

Antay ko nalang mismo ang PER email (hopefully). Baka kasi ma-stress lang ako pag magtanong pa ako haha besides, bumagal nga ang application. 54 days na ang May 7 applicants. Pero sana bumilis ulit :)

Goodluck and god bless everyone! Happy sunday! :)

I would like to quote this from the international thread:

No, there is no link which showd who are the applicable owner. it is basically from past experiences and from the defination of settlement fund.

According to OP6 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf )

"The funds must be:
 available and transferable; and
unencumbered by debts or other obligations.

Officers must be satisfied that the applicant has at their disposal, with sufficient liquidity, and with the ability to transfer those assets, the necessary threshold of funds to support their establishment in Canada on arrival."

If you go strictly with the defination/explanation of OP6, it must be at the disposal of (means owned by) applicant. And applicant usually means principal applicant and spouse (remember, IMM5406, spouse is applicant). So, settlement fund also can be owned by spouse (the applicant).

If it has share by parents, it become encumbered; what if the parents say he won't agree to transfer any money for his son/daughter;

For child, it is basically, in strictly legal term, trustee relationship; here parent is the trustee and child is owner. So, it is also legally encumbered.

I hope the above explanation clear your confusion. :) :) :)

I have a time deposit which is shared by me and my parent. Although the bank certificate will indicate that I am the owner of the fund. Will the shared ownership become a problem in the future?

*The bank is owned by a family friend of ours.

Any insights from the seniors and bank experts?

Oh, sa bpi pala di ma-trace, sana yung bank ko dito ma-trace nila. sige try ko tanong last week of July pero nakakakaba, either mapa-aga ang relax ko or mapa-aga din ang depression kaya baka sabay sabay na ang relax/depression (wag naman depression) sa CIO email.

tiis tiis pa hehe ;-)

I updated your details in the ss.
@ dbase
Kaya i submitted the photocopy of our nbi clearance para may signal ( document request ng original ) sa akin if nagstastart na sila i process papers namin para marequest ko na pre termination ng contract ng husband ko. Available naman nbi clearance namin (one month and three months old) before I filed our app. I was thinking kasi baka mabulaga kami at walang kaabog abog mag medical request bigla.

Kung ganun, ipakuha ko na kaya ng panibagong nbi clearance si hubby next week. It'll expire August kasi, (but we passed the original just the same). Puwede kaya yun? Kahit hindi pa expired kukuha ulit?

Alam ko kung ipinasa mo yung NBI clearance na orig and valid siya nung time na ipinasa mo. I think they will just refer to that... Anyone is this correct?
