My passport will expire on May 2015. My current passport has all the visas I got from other countries, like CAD (temporary), US (10 years multiple), etc. I'm planning to pass my app by the end of July 2014. Do you think I should renew my passport now or just submit my current passport? Naisip ko kasi mas maganda maipakita ko yung luma kong passport para maphotocopy ko din mga pages ng visas ko. Seniors, what do you think?

Guys, paano diskarte niyo sa question number 8, personal history? Paano kapag napuno mo ang 5 lines? Did anyone here add another page?

Nilagay ko sa additional sheet at ginaya ko yung layout ng table nila para di malito yung mag-assess. Dun sa page header lagay mo yung name mo at name ng form at section number kung para saan yung additional sheet.

Additional question po. May naka try na mag print ng bagong Generic Form? D ko parin kasi sya ma print.

Singapore din ako ngayon pero Manila nilagay ko na VO kasi base sa website ng CIC mas mabilis processing sa Manila. At di ko rin sure kung andito pa din ako SG kasi EP lang ako baka di marenew pass ko. Alam naman natin na dami rin di narerenew, ok lang siguro kung PR kana.

Does QSW require the Supplementary Information: Your Travels form? If so, then all your travel history is there anyway.
Tingin ko, kung may balak kang bumiyahe sa ibang bansa o mag-apply ng iba pang tourist visa (UK or Schengen), mas OK kung yung PRV mo ay nasa passport na mahaba pa ang validity.

Pwed pala un sir na kahit nakalagay na current address mo is Singapore na pero Manila VO parin ilalagay mo? Paano ung address mo, dba important un kasi dun nila esesend letters and just incase nag change address ka need mo punta sa office para pa change address?

Mas mabilis daw ba talaga Manila?

I reprinted the form so they wont get lost.
Passport, I too had a prob on that. My agency told me that passport should be valid atleast 2yrs(though we are having agency issues here). I had no choice but to renew my passport then(my CAD temp visa was on my old passport too). Problem is the waiting again for the release of my passport, took 1 month on that coz dfa is havng a problem too in printing e passports.
Ask for the opinions frm the seniors here, this forum helped me a lot although I am under agency. Tnx to everyone!

Yung passport ko sa Feb 2015 mag-expire pero pinasa ko pa din kasi mas importante na makaabot ako sa cap. Balak ko pag nasa Manila VO na documents saka ko iupdate passport ko. Sa july 25 ko pa kasi makuha yung bago. Sa ngayon di ko pa sure kung paano iupdate, may nabasa ako sa forum na nung hiningi passport nya sinama nya lang yung old at new.

Oo meron ka option kung sa country of nationality mo or country of residency. Eto yung actual text sa website nila.

Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

your country of nationality,

the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.

Dalawa yung kukunin nilang address sa general application form, mailing at residential address. Sa mailing address nilagay yung address ko sa Pinas para kahit magpalipat-lipat ako ng bahay sa SG ok lang, tapos sa residencial address naman yung current address ko sa SG. Since nilagay ko naman yung email address ko kaya malamang eh sa email lang nila ako sulatan at para mas mabilis na din communication namin.

ako sasagot dyan....you can renew your passport and submit the photocopy of the new (with biodata only). Then submit photocopy of the old passport pages where your visa stamps from different places are shown. Like Bosschips gusto mo ipakita di ba? In my case I did that. I put in the remarks "to support entries in the Supplementary Form for Travels ;D"

Pero kung naghahabol ka ng oras yong luma narin lang isubmit mo basta valid pa sya. Anyway magrequest naman sila yan uli. (sa tingin ko lang.hehe)

Those are additional supporting papers that are not actually required. But submitting them wont cause refusal. Mainis lang magscan ng documents mo kasi dami. ;D
Eto kagandahan ng may cover page ka where you can put your remarks. You can explain why , who, what, how ng documents attached mo.

Boss eto diskarte ko, using the same page of the form by leaving all other fields blank you fill out the same section. Then put the name of the person (ex. ikaw) sa taas ng form and make the page 2 as page 2-a.
With that you satisfy the requirements: additional page, name of form, number and title of the questions for which the additional page/details relate to. Ang tawag dito Substantial Compliance. hehe.

I tried to renew my passport, waited for a month, photocopied the info, filled out the generic form with the new passport number, date of issuance, n date of expiry, photocopied my old passport including the CAD Temp Visa, immigration stamps when I traveled there, filled out travel document form, and submitted them all.

I did not do by chance of submitting my old passport which will be soon expired because Im wondering if they will stamp the immigrant visa in an expired passport in case in will be approved considering the processing time of one year. But yeh, mybe they can always request for a new one once in Manila VO.

I did not do by chance of submitting my old passport which will be soon expired because Im wondering if they will stamp the immigrant visa in an expired passport in case in will be approved considering the processing time of one year. But yeh, mybe they can always request for a new one once in Manila VO.

Hehe, I mean submitting the photocopy of old passport sa application. Sorry, di clear nasabi ko. By the time manghingi na sila ng passport, yong new na isubmit..for visa stamping.

I'm planning to apply to FSW while having a pending QSW application.

Pero just in case they will submit the passport which will expire soon for visa stamping, baka manghingi sila uli ng newly renewed to give room for 1 year grace period for landing from the date stamping of visa.

Hi, sino na po nakapagpagawa ng DD or certified cheque sa BDO? Nagiisue ba sila in Canadian Dollar? Parang ang nabasa ko lang po before is USD. Bukas pa sana ako punta sa BDO to ask. hahaha. Excited lang ako malaman.
