Hi friends,

Got a passport request today, but I have few concerns as follows. Can anyone help me please?

1. In the mail it is written that, Your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued, conditional to a final admissibility review by an immigration officer.
What does this final admissibility review mean? Still any chance of rejection.

2. I have applied from japan. Is it good to send the passport directly via courier? I am a bit worry to send the passports. How long does it take to issue visa and return the passports to me??

I appreciate your reply in ENGLISH please.

Hi Fellow Pinoy Aspirants,

I always seek updates on this forum but am new here.

My timeline and application details:

FSW 2014
Visa Office: Manila
NOC Category: 1212
Application Received: 18 September 2014
PER Date: 05 January 2015
SLU: 26 August 2015
======================

Am worried, since 2nd line update stating "We started processing your application on February 15, 2015" last August 26, 2015, wala pa ring e-mail or update sa ecas.

Marami pa ba sa forum na to na September 2014 applicants who are in the same situation? Hope I can get inspiring words of encouragement. I need prayers too, because I waited for this for so long.

Dear Pinoy aspirants, heeeelllp!!!!

I think you're safe to do case specific inquiry. You're approaching 13th month from app date na.

Hi Seniors,

I am going to mail the additional documents requested by MVO. Would I be expecting an update in my ECAS that they have received the documents? How long would the timeframe be for me to know if I would get another update on my application assuming they have received the docs and everything is in order. Thanks for your assistance. God bless everyone!

1. That question had been raised in this forum. As long as we don't have our visa on hand, nothing is sure yet, though we haven't heard such story of rejection during PPR stage.

2. Sending your passport thru courier is safe. Choose the best courier in your country to make it safest. It won't take much time for your stamped pp to be returned to you. The average time is 2-4 weeks.

No update on ECAS for additional documents received or medicals received.
Do you have your MR together with the request for additional documents? If yes, then you're next update will be the PPR.

hi guys, i just need your opinion with regard to this matter:

well, were planning to book a flight na kasi to canada this november and the problem is ung pagbili ng ticket.. diba, iwwithdraw naman din namin ung pof sa bank para ipresent sa immigration officer upon entry to canada, i just want to know if during this time, pwd nb ako bumawas sa dineclare namn na pof para pambli ng ticket.. but still maintaining the required amount of pof?? example, ung dineclare kasi nmin during the application, para smin ng hubby ko, around 550k in peso ang required proof of funds namin pero sinobrahan naman namin ng 100k+ yun.. so more or less, sobra pa sa required.. i just want to know if pwd nb kami bumawas sa sobra? pero we'll see to it na ndi bababa sa required amt para pgland namin dala prin namin ung pera na required amount nila.. pero iba n sha dun sa dineclare..

i hope i can hear some expert opinion on this kasi balak na namin mgpabook this week kasi hbang papalapit ng november, lalo ngmmhl ang tickets eh..

and also, pg ntnggap n ang visa, pwd nb iwithdraw ang pera s bank tpos iconvert na sa CAD? habang mababa pa ang canadian dollars?

thank you po in advance.. ✈️

Hindi ako expert, sis ha. Pero based on my common sense, safe naman yang gagawin mo. Tungkol naman sa pag-convert ng pera mo, I think, puwede na rin kasi malapit ka naman mag-land eh. Gawin mo na ang dapat mo'ng gawin, book ka na agad.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings.

We received our PPR today! :) :) :)
